Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience desirable
- Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow health, safety and company procedures
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Reliable and punctual
- Team player mentality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow company procedures and protocols
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Team oriented with willingness to assist others
- Understanding of safety and security practices
- Knowledge of fire prevention and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure cleaning supplies, equipment and amenities are available
- Observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room
- Cleans assigned guest rooms and stocks amenities
- Completes housekeeping checklist
- Accurately marks cleaned rooms to supervisor for inspection
- Reports damages or hazards in guest rooms
- Secures guest room doors upon exiting
- Keeps corridors and service areas neat
- Turns in lost and found items and guest room keys
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Follows safety and security procedures and rules
- Knows fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilizes protective equipment
- Reports unsafe conditions to management
- Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses or property loss
- Maintains neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Performs related duties as requested
- Assists other housekeeping personnel when needed
