Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in housekeeping software tools
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Capability to conduct regular inspections
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping supervisory tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Proficient in using housekeeping management software such as HotSOS
- Knowledge of inventory control and cost management
- Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and service standards
Job Duties
- Direct involvement with training and development of new employees
- Monitor the status of room condition and availability, submitting prompt and accurate reports to the front desk and housekeeping office
- Communicate constantly with the housekeeping office to update room statuses or any other priorities
- Write maintenance requests and follow up to ensure that they have been completed
- React to guest complaints regarding service or equipment
- AM supervisor to complete 15 detailed room inspections per day and input the inspection findings into Hot SOS
- Complete one daily room inspection with housekeeper who cleaned the room that is being inspected and provide positive feedback as well as noting areas for improvement
- PM supervisor to inspect hallways, corridors, service, and storage areas to insure standards are being followed
- Inspection to be recorded in HotSOS
- Establishes and maintains cost control system for linen and cleaning supplies inventories
- Oversees ordering, and receiving of such supplies
- Assure that all employees are properly groomed in uniform with name tag in place
