Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one year related experience or training
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in wet, humid, and noisy environments
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands frequently
- Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills

Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cleaning staff
- Interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work schedules
- Appraise employee performance
- Reward and discipline employees
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with standards
- Investigate service and equipment complaints and take corrective action
- Inspect facility conditions to determine cleaning requirements
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in working order
- Instruct staff on work policies and equipment use
- Assist with cleaning duties when necessary
- Select appropriate cleaning materials for various surfaces
- Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficiency
