Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or related field within a country club setting
- At least 2 years supervisory experience
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to work additional hours
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional driving
- Exposure to dust, temperature changes, or cleaning chemicals
- Ability to squat, kneel, reach, twist, and bend
- Sensory abilities including talking, hearing, and seeing
- Adherence to attendance and schedule requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience in a country club setting
- At least 2 years supervisory experience
- Associate degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- Experience providing guidance, training or oversight to housekeeping or hospitality staff preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
- Basic proficiency with property management or housekeeping software preferred
Job Duties
- Support daily operations of the housekeeping team by assigning tasks and training staff
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Ensure guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with linens, toiletries, and amenities
- Verify in-room appliances and systems are functioning properly and report issues
- Respond promptly to member and guest requests to ensure a personalized experience
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all public areas, corridors, stairwells, and staff areas
- Report maintenance, safety, or service concerns to the Rooms Manager
- Collaborate with other departments to support member and guest needs
- Assist with training and onboarding of housekeeping staff
- Create and adjust shift schedules for adequate coverage
- Document and escalate performance or service concerns to management
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
- Follow company, club, and department policies
- Represent management by supporting policies and ethics
- Maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence in interactions
- Promote and follow safe working practices
- Take initiative in personal and professional growth
- Address challenges with regional and corporate teams
- Support team efficiency by contributing to club goals
