Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid Missouri “E” or Arkansas “P” driver’s license
  • clean and safe driving record

Job Duties

  • Establish standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff
  • assists in the planning of work schedules to ensure adequate service
  • inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment
  • assists with recommendations for painting, repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space
  • manages five subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 60 employees in the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments
  • oversees overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of housekeeping and laundry units
  • directly supervises one non-supervisory employee
  • carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, and addressing complaints
  • coaches housekeeping leaders to practice leadership aligned with company culture and business objectives
  • creates and executes plans to increase efficiencies and service levels in housekeeping
  • maintains high morale and efficient functioning of the housekeeping team
  • ensures that all rooms meet or exceed company standards
  • creates and manages training programs for new associates to boost productivity and reduce turnover
