Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping or hospitality experience
  • leadership experience in a supervisory role
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • attention to detail
  • knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping supervision
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • ability to conduct staff training and evaluations

Job Duties

  • Practice and promote company-wide culture and service standards
  • support housekeeping attendants on guest floors, public areas, and linen
  • assign daily rooms status report for opening and closing the house
  • supervise status board operators to ensure all rooms are cleaned and discrepancies reconciled
  • manage lost and found process
  • monitor housekeeping attendants to ensure high productivity levels
  • enhance communication among housekeeping team
  • maintain strict radio control
  • control housekeeping equipment and inventory
  • monitor and track heavy cleaning projects
  • perform room inspections and evaluate housekeeping attendants
  • counsel team members positively
  • conduct candidate interviews
  • recommend candidates for promotions
  • ensure OSHA training completion
  • complete team member evaluations
