Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • ability to lift up to 55 pounds with assistance
  • ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts
  • adherence to company safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards
  • run sold room reports and verify room status
  • determine discrepant rooms and prioritize room cleaning
  • update status of departing guest rooms
  • assist Housekeeping management with daily activities including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees
  • act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
  • communicate and document issues with discrepant rooms
  • prepare and distribute changes in room assignments
  • communicate issues to next shift
  • complete required paperwork
  • follow all company and safety policies and procedures
  • report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • ensure professional uniform and appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of information and protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • speak with clear and professional language
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • listen and respond to concerns of employees
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations
  • perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects up to 55 pounds with assistance
  • use computer and point of sale systems
  • perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
