Job Duties
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards
- run sold room reports and verify room status
- determine discrepant rooms and prioritize room cleaning
- update status of departing guest rooms
- assist Housekeeping management with daily activities including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees
- act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
- communicate and document issues with discrepant rooms
- prepare and distribute changes in room assignments
- communicate issues to next shift
- complete required paperwork
- follow all company and safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- ensure professional uniform and appearance
- maintain confidentiality of information and protect company assets
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards
- assist individuals with disabilities
- speak with clear and professional language
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- listen and respond to concerns of employees
- ensure adherence to quality expectations
- perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects up to 55 pounds with assistance
