Job Requirements

  • Experience with properties (hotels and resorts) with more than 500 rooms
  • One-year progressive housekeeping supervisory/management experience required
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Bilingual skills are helpful but not required

Job Duties

  • Monitor and evaluate staff work performance on an on-going basis, praise and discipline staff as appropriate
  • Monitor and assist with training of room attendants
  • Monitor and schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms/suites and public areas to ensure everything is clean and in good repair
  • Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, associates and other departments
  • Understand all duties of room attendants, housepersons, and supervisors and assist when needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
