Job Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Three or more years of recent related housekeeping experience including one year supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated experience supervising housekeeping or general maintenance functions preferably in hospitality
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under deadlines or pressure
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Availability to respond to property needs on a 24-hour basis
  • Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of safety laws, workers compensation, employment laws, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
  • Basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience supervising housekeeping or general maintenance functions preferably in hospitality
  • Experience performing under deadlines or pressure
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritizing skills
  • Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of safety, workers compensation, employment laws, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
  • Proficiency with computer use
  • High school graduate
  • Three or more years of related housekeeping experience including at least one year in a supervisory role

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety procedures and the use of safety equipment
  • Supervise housekeeping employees including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplinary actions
  • Plan and assign work schedules and duties for 20-40 housekeeping staff based on occupancy forecasts
  • Monitor property conditions to ensure attractiveness and safety for guests and staff
  • Prepare supply requisitions, control inventory, and manage the lost and found compartment
  • Conduct ongoing training on department policies, procedures, and equipment use
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to maintain positive relations and efficient operations
