- experience in hospitality or housekeeping roles
- ability to supervise and lead a team

Job Duties
- Inspect the level of cleanliness in guest rooms, storage areas, laundry areas, restrooms, and public areas
- distribute keys and work assignments to staff
- complete follow-up on vacant or occupied rooms
- assist in the ordering and receiving of linen and cleaning supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels
- assist with monthly linen and supply inventory
- ensure completion of the Housekeepers Report and communicate clean and available rooms to the Guest Services Department
- document and communicate maintenance requests to the Engineering Department
- respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner
- report guest complaints or requests to the appropriate department
- follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
- display a professional image through appearance and dress
- follow company policies and procedures and communicate them to subordinates
- conduct training classes on safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines
- ensure hotel compliance with federal, state, and local laws including OSHA, EEOC, Wage-Hour and Health laws
