Job Requirements
- Reliable commute or plan to relocate to Anchorage, AK
- Ability to work flexible schedules including day, night, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum one year of cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cleaning preferred
- Ability to work under pressure with patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping operations and guest service standards
Job Duties
- Supervise, schedule, and train Housekeeping staff emphasizing guest relations skills
- Establish and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and departmental policies and liaison with other managers as appropriate
- Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with accurate information and with a positive attitude to ensure guest satisfaction
- Supervise the appropriate selection of rooms, based on guest needs, and instructions as per the Director of Housekeeping
- Maintain Housekeeping supplies
- Conduct property inspections at the start of each shift, beginning with the main lobby, guest corridors and elevator landings, and public space
- Provide constant and consistent communications with other Housekeeping staff and other departments as needed
