Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or related field
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings
  • Physical ability to walk, kneel, stoop and stand for entire shift
  • Ability to lift, push or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Must abide by company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment
  • Strong multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work well in team environment
  • Ability to work under time constraints while remaining calm and clear-headed
  • Attention to detail, speed and efficiency in job performance
  • Ability to follow directions effectively
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera software preferred
  • Ability to type 45 wpm and handle computer data input
  • Service oriented with strong sales skills

  • Knowledge of property safety and security procedures

Job Duties

  • Walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift while cleaning and servicing guest rooms
  • Strip beds, remove soiled linen, terry and trash and transport to appropriate locations
  • Check under beds and sofas for debris and clean bedroom and closet areas
  • Vacuum, sweep and mop floors to ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, balconies, and hallways
  • Dust furniture, lamps, headboards, pictures, planters, clean kitchen counters, cabinets, drawers, and refrigerators
  • Clean bathroom counters, floors, showers, and tubs
  • Report any missing or found articles, damage, or maintenance problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Receive assigned section, keys, supplies and priority requests from the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Respond courteously to guests, managers and associates and report guest issues to management
