Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • prior hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including walking, kneeling, stooping, and standing for entire shift
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • ability to lift, carry, push or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds frequently
  • open availability including evening shifts
  • strong communication skills in English
  • knowledge of safety and security procedures
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • able to work under time constraints and prioritize tasks
  • basic computer literacy
  • able to travel as required
  • availability primarily Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm PST with occasional weekends or holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment preferred
  • advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • demonstrate working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to read, write, and understand English
  • energetic and outgoing personality
  • strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • basic financial literacy including arithmetic
  • typing skills at 45 wpm
  • proficient with Microsoft Office and Opera
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Job Duties

  • Walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift while cleaning and servicing guest rooms
  • strip beds, remove soiled linen, terry and trash from guestrooms and take to appropriate locations
  • check under beds and sofas for debris, clean bedroom and closet areas, and make beds
  • vacuum, sweep and mop floors in guest rooms, balconies, and hallways
  • dust furniture, lamps, headboards, pictures, planters, and clean kitchen counters, cabinets, drawers, and refrigerators
  • clean bathroom counters, floors, showers, and tubs
  • report any missing or found articles, damage or maintenance problems
  • receive assigned section, keys, supplies, and priority requests
  • respond in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner to guests, managers, and associates
  • report all guest issues and complaints to management
