Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or related field
- Ability to walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work evening shifts and weekends as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
- Availability to work primarily Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with some weekend or holiday shifts
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
- Ability to adapt workload based on hotel occupancy
- Must be service-oriented and customer-focused
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment preferred
- Advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient typing speed of 45 words per minute
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Opera software
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, guest corridors, elevators, and assigned areas
- Deliver items to guest rooms such as irons, towels, and extra pillows
- Strip beds and remove soiled linens, terry, and trash in accordance with prescribed methods
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in guest room areas, balconies, and hallways
- Dust furniture, lamps, headboards, pictures, and other fixtures
- Clean bathroom counters, floors, showers, and tubs thoroughly
- Report missing or found articles, damages, or maintenance issues to housekeeping supervisor
