Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of hospitality or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to walk, kneel, stoop and stand for entire shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in English reading, writing and comprehension
- Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment preferred
- Proficient knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and web analytics preferred
- Demonstrated working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and speed in performing tasks
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic financial literacy and data entry skills
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and assigned areas
- Deliver guest requests such as irons, towels, and extra pillows
- Strip beds, remove soiled linens and trash
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors in guest rooms and public areas
- Dust furniture and clean kitchen and bathroom surfaces
- Report maintenance issues and lost or found articles to supervisor
- Respond courteously to guests, managers and colleagues
