Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of hospitality or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to walk, kneel, stoop and stand for entire shifts
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in English reading, writing and comprehension
  • Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and web analytics preferred
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and speed in performing tasks
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic financial literacy and data entry skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and assigned areas
  • Deliver guest requests such as irons, towels, and extra pillows
  • Strip beds, remove soiled linens and trash
  • Vacuum, sweep and mop floors in guest rooms and public areas
  • Dust furniture and clean kitchen and bathroom surfaces
  • Report maintenance issues and lost or found articles to supervisor
  • Respond courteously to guests, managers and colleagues
