Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or laundry services preferred
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- good physical health
- willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends if required
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in the housekeeping or janitorial industry is preferred
- ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- good organizational and time management skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- effective communication skills
- understanding of safety and hygiene standards in a healthcare or senior living environment
Job Duties
- transporting, washing, drying, sorting, and folding linens and personal laundry
- returning linens and laundry to proper storage, supply carts, or resident rooms
- responsible for the cleanliness of the laundry area and laundry equipment
- maintaining laundry equipment in good working order
- collaborating with team members to uphold overall cleanliness and hygiene standards
- adhering to safety and health regulations within housekeeping tasks
- reporting any maintenance or supply needs promptly
