Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles advantageous but not required
strong attention to detail
good communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
commitment to delivering excellent customer service
physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

clean and maintain assigned hotel areas including offices, banquet and conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms
dust and polish furniture and fixtures
vacuum, mop, and sweep floors
shampoo carpets and wash windows
clean and wax floors
dispose of garbage and ashtrays
warmly greet newcomers and guests
identify and address safety hazards promptly
label stockroom items accurately with identification tags
accomplish comprehensive cleaning tasks and manage distinct assignments
respond attentively to guest demands and assist with guest room hygiene when needed
