Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards
- ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned hotel areas including offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms, public spaces, and restrooms
- promptly address guests' concerns and requests
- dust, polish furniture and fixtures
- vacuum, mop, sweep, and shampoo carpets
- wash windows and clean and wax floors
- dispose of garbage and ashtrays
- warmly greet guests and create a welcoming environment
- identify and address safety hazards immediately
- accurately label items in stockrooms with identification tags
- conduct comprehensive cleaning tasks and complete distinct assignments
- assist with hygiene of guest rooms when required
