Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to handle physical cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safety standards and hospitality etiquette
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises including offices, banquet, meeting, conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms
- Perform various cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning, and waxing floors
- Dispose of garbage and ashtrays properly
- Greet guests warmly and respond promptly to their concerns or special requests
- Identify and address safety hazards immediately
- Label items in stockrooms accurately with designated identification tags
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks and manage distinct assignments
- Attend to guest room hygiene when called upon
