Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
- strong attention to detail
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Job Duties
- carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
- promptly address guests' concerns to create outstanding guest experiences
- ensure meticulously cleaned and maintained offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms
- perform tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, and disposing of garbage and ashtrays
- demonstrate a welcoming environment by greeting newcomers warmly
- identify and address safety hazards immediately to prevent accidents
- accurately label all items in stockrooms with designated identification tags
- accomplish comprehensive cleaning tasks and take charge of distinct assignments
- be attentive to guest demands and contribute to the hygiene of guest rooms when called upon
