Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
  • ability to follow safety procedures
  • good communication skills
  • customer service orientation
  • attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • ability to work efficiently in a team environment

Job Duties

  • carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
  • promptly address guests' concerns and contribute to outstanding guest experiences
  • ensure designated areas like offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms are maintained to the required standards
  • perform dusting and polishing of furniture and fixtures
  • vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, wash windows, clean and wax floors
  • dispose of garbage and ashtrays properly
  • demonstrate a welcoming environment by warmly greeting newcomers
  • identify and address safety hazards immediately to prevent accidents
  • ensure accurate labeling of items in stockrooms
  • complete comprehensive cleaning tasks and take charge of distinct assignments
  • respond attentively to guest demands and assist with guest room hygiene when called upon
