Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks

Job Duties

  • carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
  • promptly address guests' concerns to create outstanding guest experiences and financial benefits
  • ensure designated areas like offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms are meticulously cleaned and maintained
  • perform dusting and polishing of furniture and fixtures
  • vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, wash windows, clean and wax floors
  • dispose of garbage and ashtrays properly
  • warmly greet newcomers to demonstrate a welcoming environment
  • identify and address safety hazards immediately to prevent accidents
  • accurately label all items in stockrooms with designated identification tags
  • accomplish comprehensive cleaning tasks and take charge of distinct assignments
  • be attentive to guest demands and contribute to guest room hygiene when called upon
