Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises such as offices, banquet, meeting, conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, wash windows, clean and wax floors
- Dispose of garbage and ashtrays properly
- Greet newcomers warmly to demonstrate a welcoming environment
- Identify and address safety hazards promptly to prevent accidents
- Ensure items in stockrooms are labeled accurately
- Complete comprehensive cleaning tasks and manage specific assignments
- Address guest demands and contribute to guest room hygiene when required
