Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in housekeeping or similar hospitality roles preferred
strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
excellent communication and customer service skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the work shift
reliability and punctuality

Job Duties

Carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
promptly address guest concerns with courteous responses
clean and maintain designated areas including offices, banquet, meeting, and conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms
perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, and disposing of garbage and ashtrays
warmly greet guests to create a welcoming environment
identify and promptly address all safety hazards to prevent potential accidents
ensure accurate labeling and organization of stockroom items with designated identification tags
accomplish comprehensive cleaning tasks and take responsibility for specific assignments
attend to guest demands and contribute to the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms when requested
