Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping or similar hospitality roles preferred
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the work shift
- reliability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
- promptly address guest concerns with courteous responses
- clean and maintain designated areas including offices, banquet, meeting, and conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms
- perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, and disposing of garbage and ashtrays
- warmly greet guests to create a welcoming environment
- identify and promptly address all safety hazards to prevent potential accidents
- ensure accurate labeling and organization of stockroom items with designated identification tags
- accomplish comprehensive cleaning tasks and take responsibility for specific assignments
- attend to guest demands and contribute to the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms when requested
