Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- strong attention to detail
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- ability to follow safety and cleanliness standards
- basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
Job Duties
- Carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
- promptly address guests' concerns to create outstanding guest experiences
- ensure designated areas like offices, banquet, meeting, conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms are meticulously cleaned and maintained
- perform dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, and disposing of garbage and ashtrays
- warmly greet newcomers demonstrating a welcoming environment
- identify and address all safety hazards immediately to prevent accidents
- accurately label stockroom items with designated identification tags
- accomplish comprehensive cleaning tasks and take charge of distinct assignments
- attend to guest demands and contribute to the hygiene of guest rooms when called upon
