Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- possess an affinity for working with seniors
- professional and neat appearance and presentation, including adherence to the dress code and good personal hygiene
- excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels

Job Duties
- Dust wall vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards, furniture and blinds
- vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets and furniture as needed
- sweep and mop floors
- clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring that all paper goods and soap dispensers are stocked adequately
- check for and remove marks from walls
- empty trash cans in resident apartments/suites and common areas
- follow proper cleaning and infection control policies and procedures
- document provision of services in accordance with company policy
- report any hazards, violations, or sanitation issues to the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping
- work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all residents
- maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, particularly when interacting with residents and their families
- communicate with residents, family members and guests in a respectful, diplomatic manner
- collaborate with associates in other departments to ensure that resident needs are being met appropriately
