Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- knowledge of housekeeping cleaning methods and safety protocols
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- good communication skills
- willingness to work flexible hours
- experience in a healthcare or residential care setting preferred

Job Duties
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas
- perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- empty and sanitize ash trays daily following safety protocols
- clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units as instructed
- clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures ensuring removal of water marks
- clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways
- clean floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting while ensuring safety signs are in place
