Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively within a team
strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
ability to follow safety protocols and procedures

Job Duties

Carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
promptly address guests' concerns to create outstanding guest experiences
ensure designated areas like offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms are meticulously cleaned and maintained
perform tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, disposing of garbage and ashtrays
warmly greet newcomers to demonstrate a welcoming environment
identify and address all safety hazards immediately to prevent potential accidents
ensure all items in stockrooms are accurately labeled with designated identification tags
accomplish comprehensive cleaning tasks and manage distinct assignments
be attentive to guest demands and contribute to the hygiene of guest rooms when called upon
