Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping duties
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- Empty and sanitize ash trays daily
- Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units in resident rooms and recreational areas daily
- Clean, wash sanitize and/or polish bathroom fixtures ensuring water marks are removed
- Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways
- Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting with appropriate caution/safety signs set up
