Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Ability to operate motorized cleaning equipment
  • Compliance with safety standards and protocols
  • Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • Experience is not required
  • Experience in environmental services is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to understand emergency instructions and basic safety terminology is critical
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with routine and repetitive work routines
  • A pre-employment background check and drug screening will be required
  • Housekeeping/Janitorial experience in healthcare

Job Duties

  • Perform housekeeping and laundry activities to ensure the highest level of cleanliness
  • Inspect rooms, public areas, and heart of the house for cleanliness
  • Manage and maintain supply and linen inventories
  • Ensure requests are responded to in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner
  • Report all maintenance issues in a timely manner
  • Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
  • Operate motorized cleaning equipment
  • Manage and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas
  • Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Stop at-risk behavior of others and self
  • Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Maintain clean work area
  • Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
  • Fill in during staff shortage
  • Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand customer service and satisfaction
  • Understand reporting systems and of the environment
