Job Duties
- Ensure smooth operation of the EVS department by responding to cleaning service requests via telephone, email, and Bed Management Program
- prioritize departmental response based on request urgency
- record, delegate, and monitor housekeeping productivity for timely completion
- monitor status of assignments and communicate with management and discharge team
- maintain positive customer and associate relationships through quick and appropriate responses
- handle issues to resolution to improve throughput and patient satisfaction
- escalate unresolved issues to management
- troubleshoot potential problems and recommend service recovery
- promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
- maintain good rapport and cooperative relationships
- approach conflicts constructively
- participate in problem identification and resolution
- assume responsibility for job duties with safety awareness
- report preventable hazards and unsafe practices to management immediately
