Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to operate motorized cleaning equipment
  • ability to lift and carry moderate weights
  • physical stamina for repetitive tasks
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • adherence to safety procedures and company policies
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • experience is not required
  • preferred experience in environmental services
  • ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • ability to understand emergency instructions and basic safety terminology
  • bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
  • comfortable with routine and repetitive work
  • pre-employment background check and drug screening required
  • housekeeping or janitorial experience in healthcare preferred

Job Duties

  • perform housekeeping and laundry activities to ensure cleanliness
  • inspect rooms, public areas, and heart of the house for cleanliness
  • manage and maintain supply and linen inventories
  • respond to requests in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner
  • report maintenance issues promptly
  • perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
  • operate motorized cleaning equipment
  • manage and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas
  • report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
  • comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • perform work assignments in a team
  • maintain clean work area
  • follow company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
  • communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
  • fill in during staff shortages
  • support shift lead in completing punch-list items
  • use proper personal protective equipment
  • present a professional appearance and conduct
  • understand customer service and satisfaction
  • understand reporting systems and environmental standards
