Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a healthcare environmental services role preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • experience in environmental services or housekeeping
  • leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to train and guide staff
  • proficiency with Epic or similar systems a plus
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • running the Epic bed tracking system
  • providing new hire training and follow-up training
  • gathering monthly quality assurance data via GloCheck testing and quality inspections
  • validating 2nd and 3rd pulls
  • daily patient rounding
  • cover critical staff shortages
  • participate in interviewing
  • inventory housekeeping supplies for order
  • lead team huddles as directed
  • service recovery
