Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a healthcare environmental services role preferred
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- experience in environmental services or housekeeping
- leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to train and guide staff
- proficiency with Epic or similar systems a plus
- attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- running the Epic bed tracking system
- providing new hire training and follow-up training
- gathering monthly quality assurance data via GloCheck testing and quality inspections
- validating 2nd and 3rd pulls
- daily patient rounding
- cover critical staff shortages
- participate in interviewing
- inventory housekeeping supplies for order
- lead team huddles as directed
- service recovery
