Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- ability to handle physical workload and maintain stamina during shifts
Job Duties
- clean and maintain designated areas of the hotel including restrooms public spaces offices and conference rooms
- perform cleaning tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures vacuuming sweeping mopping shampooing carpets washing windows cleaning and waxing floors disposing of garbage and ashtrays
- greet visitors warmly to make them feel valued and appreciated
- coordinate with maintenance personnel to carry out repairs with minimal disruption
- implement standard operating procedures for supply management operations
- execute detailed cleaning duties and manage exceptional projects
- attend to guest requests promptly and contribute to the sanitation of guest accommodations
