Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
- ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- effective communication skills
- willingness to work as part of a team and take direction

Job Duties
- general cleaning including floor care and sanitizing
- washing, polishing furniture and fixtures
- waste removal and stocking supplies
- cleaning windows
- collecting laundry from resident rooms and designated areas
- sorting, labeling, washing, drying and distributing linens and resident personal clothing
- ironing articles as required
- inspecting laundry and linen quality
- informing supervisor of replacement needs
- ensuring housekeeping and laundry supplies are replenished
- ensuring equipment, tools, and supplies are cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift
