Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weights
- Availability to work on-call shifts including evenings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures

- Flexibility and personal integrity
- Ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public
- Ability to take direction, prioritize duties, and organize work with others
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language for effective communication
Job Duties
- General cleaning including floor care, washing, sanitizing, and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Waste removal and stocking of supplies
- Cleaning windows and maintaining cleanliness in common areas
- Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and distributing resident laundry and linens according to schedule
- Inspecting laundry and linens and communicating replacement needs
- Ensuring housekeeping and laundry supplies are replenished in work areas
- Cleaning and properly storing equipment, tools, and supplies at the end of shifts
