Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
  • Physical ability to move, bend, stoop, and reach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to work regularly
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures

  • Housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to grasp, lift, carry or move materials weighing up to 100 lbs with or without accommodations
  • Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach to assist staff
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences

Job Duties

  • Supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house
  • Ensure compliance with accident and loss prevention programs, health and sanitation standards
  • Review special requests and areas of concentration for smooth housekeeping operations
  • Issue supplies and goods to staff while controlling inventory and expenses
  • Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems
  • Log items into lost and found and manage inquiries
  • Implement emergency training and safety procedures
  • Comply with attendance rules and maintain regular work availability
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned
