Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to perform standing, walking, lifting and bending
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and hotel policies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest belongings
- Availability to work day shifts
Job Qualifications
- No prior job experience required
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to stand and walk 100 percent of the time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of safety rules and caution
- Ability to follow departmental rules and procedures
Job Duties
- Change all used linen daily
- Vacuum carpets daily
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly
- Dust all furniture and fixtures including headboards, mirrors, picture frames, credenzas, televisions, tables
- Ensure proper layout of furniture and amenities in each room type
- Be accountable for guests' belongings and report any found items to supervisor
- Report any suspicious activities or persons to supervisor or General Manager
