Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting
- ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 40 pounds and prolonged standing
- availability to work weekends and various shifts
- attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- strong communication skills to report issues and interact with guests and team members
- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends and may be asked to work both AM and PM shifts
- previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to clean a minimum of 14 rooms in 8 hour shift
Job Duties
- Ensure standards of excellence for guestrooms cleanliness are followed
- attend daily line-up meetings in the housekeeping office
- report anomalies in the guestrooms to supervisor or dispatcher
- keep the service areas and closets clean at all times
- maintain carts organized at all times
- make the bed specific to training and standards
- clean the bathroom following the steps specified in the training manual
- dust room and replace all amenities throughout the room
- vacuum room thoroughly
- follow all service standards specified to our Housekeeping Standards
- report and turn in any Lost and Found items from guestrooms or hallways
- anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to any requests and acknowledge all guests all the time
