Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 45 pounds
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, reaching, and standing for prolonged periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and tools
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day per week
- Sunday availability is preferred
Job Duties
- Remove used linens from bed and replace with fresh linens
- Place used linens into laundry bag without exceeding weight limit
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly including sinks, mirrors, floors, toilets, and tubs using appropriate cleansers and tools
- Place used towels and bath mats into laundry bag
- Clean floors in rooms and hallways using a vacuum cleaner
- Dust and clean furniture, lamps, fixtures, and wooden surfaces with appropriate materials
- Stock rooms with amenities and supplies taken from housekeeping cart
- Empty trash cans and replace plastic bags as needed
- Remove trash and linen bags from rooms
- Stock housekeeping carts with linens, towels, amenities, and other necessary items
- Perform other duties as assigned
