Job Qualifications
- Flexible and adaptable to work in various areas and conditions

- Ability to use personal protective equipment, hand tools, power equipment, and cleaning chemicals safely
- Willing to perform cleaning tasks including tough and messy situations
- Enthusiastic about interacting with and helping guests
- Self-directed and able to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Able to work independently for most of the shift
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment
- Experience in a self-directed role with little supervision
- Knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
Job Duties
- Clean approximately 14 units per day including making beds, cleaning bathrooms and dusting furniture
- Change bedding including bed sacks, blankets, duvet covers and inserts on specified days
- Vacuum and edge carpets including underneath furniture and remove carpet spots
- Clean and touch up windows, walls and baseboards
- Clean patios, balconies, walls, floors and furniture
- Fold towels with special touches such as folding in a certain way and crimping toilet paper and tissues
- Clean entrance of rooms including front and back doors and surrounding wall areas
- Replace amenities in guest rooms
- Change shower liners, shower curtains, bed pads and other linens
- Replace glasses, mugs and carafes including cleaning coffee filters
- Change iron board covers as needed
- Stock carts and baskets and take inventory of amenities, linen, and terry needed to replenish rooms
- Perform deep cleaning of rooms and bathrooms on specified days
- Provide nightly turndown service for VIP and specified guests
