Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or a hospitality trade certificate
  • Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferably in a hospitality environment
  • Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays
  • Must be a team player
  • Physically able to do considerable lifting, pushing, stretching, and bending with moderate weight

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Changing bed linen and making beds
  • Replacing used towels and bathroom amenities such as shampoo and soap
  • Sweeping, mopping floors and vacuuming carpets
  • Dusting and polishing furniture
  • Emptying trash containers
  • Reporting technical issues and maintenance needs
  • Greeting guests and responding to queries
  • Updating status of guest rooms
  • Returning and restocking cleaning cart at shift end
  • Cleaning assigned hotel areas including hallways, guest elevators, and landings
  • Completing various additional tasks and assignments as needed
