Job Requirements
- High school level or equivalency
- six months of relevant experience in a hotel or similar hospitality-related operation preferred
- familiarity with cleaning products and equipment
- ability to communicate using clear, courteous and professional language
- ability to read and write
- positive attitude and cooperative work style
- meet attendance requirements
- ability to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
- ensure familiarity with all hotel services and features

Job Duties
- Clean up to fourteen credits per shift including changing bed linens and making beds
- vacuum carpet and mop floors
- dust furniture and clean refrigerators
- replenish amenities and supplies to hotel standards
- clean guestroom bathrooms including toilet, bathtub, sink, mirror and floor
- replenish towels and amenities
- clean guestroom lanais including sweeping, mopping floors and wiping furniture and railings
- inspect rooms thoroughly for cleanliness in accordance with standards
- certify and release vacant clean room status for quality control inspection
- conduct special room projects such as polishing chrome and cleaning windows
- report maintenance issues, damages, suspicious activity or found property promptly
- replenish missing or damaged room accessories and cleaning supplies
- organize and secure maid's carts and closets daily
- prepare supply closets and carts for next day’s operation
- perform other duties as assigned
