Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school certificate
- Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury or boutique hotel preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Ability to perform light to moderately heavy housekeeping duties including lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to use stairs and service elevators
- Ability to use tact and discretion with guests personal items

Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms including stripping bed linens and emptying trash
- Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms including commodes, tubs, floors, and mirrors
- Gather trash and properly dispose of waste as directed
- Ensure all lost and found items are tagged and delivered to Housekeeping Management
- Inspect rooms for needed repairs and cleaning completion
- Report any damage to furniture or fixtures to supervisor
- Verify proper use of cleaning products per safety guidelines
- Arrange furniture, bedding, and amenities according to standards
- Replenish housekeeping items such as towels, bathrobes, toiletries
- Perform dusting and vacuuming according to standards
- Inspect rooms systematically and record completed duties
- Replace clean towels on racks
- Place appropriate quantities of room accessories
- Operate a light vacuum
- Follow procedures related to pets, smoke, and pests
- Adhere to all safety and security policies
- Prioritize room cleaning based on guest requests and arrivals
- Complete special projects as requested
- Deep clean assigned guest rooms annually as scheduled
