Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Commitment to safety and hygiene standards

  • Physical stamina to perform continuous standing, bending, lifting and other physical tasks

Job Duties

  • Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors and carpets
  • Dusting, brushing, polishing, wiping and straightening furniture, appliances and surfaces
  • Changing linen and making beds
  • Cleaning showers, toilets, tubs, sinks and bathroom fixtures
  • Removing used guest amenities and trash
  • Inspecting rooms for lost and found items, safety hazards or damage and reporting same to supervisor
  • Maintaining storage rooms and housekeeping carts
  • Comply with established safety, sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards
