Job Requirements

  • High-school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum six months work-related experience preferably hospitality or janitorial experience
  • Flexible to work varied schedules
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must adhere to grooming and appearance standards
  • Must be dependable

Job Qualifications

  • High-school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum six months of work-related experience preferably in hospitality or janitorial services
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Previous experience as housekeeper or room attendant preferred
  • Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to listen attentively
  • Ability to express compassion while remaining composed
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Must promote and respect diversity and multi-cultural environments

Job Duties

  • Offer professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests
  • Anticipate guests needs and answer questions about the property and local attractions
  • Complete required brand specific and health and safety training
  • Enter and prepare guest rooms for cleaning including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing amenities, and securing rooms
  • Submit lost and found items promptly to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Clean and restock supply cart at the end of shift
  • Perform other tasks as necessary to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
