Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Prior experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow safety rules and procedures
- Must maintain clean and professional appearance
- Ability to handle cleaning and vacuum equipment
- Must be organized and efficient
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts
- Ability to work independently and within a team

Job Duties
- Guarantee total guest satisfaction
- Display hospitality and professionalism to guests always
- Assure all transactions with guests are handled legally and ethically
- Comply with company standards of service
- Project a favorable image of the hotel
- Maintain clean and neat appearance including uniform and name tag
- Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
- Arrive prepared with stocked cleaning cart
- Maintain equipment such as vacuum
- Stock cart daily and notify supervisor of shortages
- Ensure cleanliness of assigned rooms according to standards
- Perform daily cleaning duties and change linens
- Remove soiled linens and replace with clean ones
- Clean bathroom area to standards
- Check fixtures and appliances for proper operation
- Assure all amenities and guest supplies are present and replenished
- Dust all surfaces and vacuum carpets daily
- Report room status for reselling
- Perform deep cleaning as assigned
- Write maintenance orders as needed
- Set appliances for guest comfort and hotel efficiency
- Turn in lost articles to management
- Maintain safe working conditions and security
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Maintain security of keys and rooms
- Report do not disturb or bolted rooms
- Inform supervisor of significant issues promptly
- Perform duties timely and efficiently according to policies
