Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel or related field preferred
- ability to work long hours sometimes required
- medium work requiring up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- ability to bend, lift, and stand or walk during entire shift
- ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper uniform and name tag
- comply with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift
- complete all pre-cleaning duties such as stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
- remove all trash and dirty linen from guest room
- keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
- clean room with the door always closed unless requested to do otherwise
- report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
- report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
- handle all Lost and Found according to standards
- perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor
