Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift moderate weight
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning janitorial work or hospitality environments with a focus on housekeeping duties
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces including carpets tile and hardwood floors
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Effective time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated shifts
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising team members is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly including beds bathrooms floors furniture and fixtures following established protocols
- Change linens make beds and replenish amenities such as toiletries and towels to ensure guest comfort
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets and mopping hard surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways lobbies elevators and restrooms by removing trash and performing routine janitorial tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial practices
- Assist with inventory management by stocking cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently
