Job Qualifications

  • High-school graduate or equivalent
  • minimum of six months work-related experience preferably in hospitality or janitorial services
  • excellent customer service skills
  • previous hospitality industry experience preferred
  • previous experience as housekeeper/room attendant or janitorial services preferred
  • ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • good written and oral communication skills
  • ability to listen attentively
  • flexibility to work varied schedules
  • physical ability to walk, bend, stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

  • adherence to grooming and appearance standards

Job Duties

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests
  • anticipate guests needs and answer questions that the guests may have pertaining to their visit
  • respond promptly
  • be familiar with property location, amenities, and local attractions
  • resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • complete all brand specific and health and safety training
  • adhere to property brand standards
  • know fire alarm and evacuation procedures
  • prepare guest rooms for cleaning including making beds, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, replenishing amenities, and realigning furniture
  • clean and restock supply cart
  • update and submit room assignment sheets
  • follow lost and found policy
  • submit lost items immediately to Executive Housekeeper
  • perform other necessary tasks to exceed guest satisfaction
